About The White Room
The White Room has a single queen sized bed and a beautiful cherry desk built by John. This room has its own bathroom (ensuite) with a shower, toilet, sink, and toiletries. Sitting at the desk, you will see the east pasture where the llamas like to sleep in the summer, fall and spring. The rear window overlooks our backyard, and you may see the emus and the chickens, as well as our dogs.
The White Room is the mirror image of the Pink Room and it is the best room to hear the emus drum at night. This room has its own, adjustable heat so you can set it as you like. In the summer we have fans, and thanks to our country location, we don't need air conditioning, it cools off at night on its own.
The artwork in this room includes prints by an artist from Oaxaca, Mexico, and drawings by artists from Western Massachusetts. The Pink and White room are entered through a hallway separate from the main house. Since COVID, each room now has its own Keurig coffee maker, microwave and toaster. Please note that solar power prevents us from placing refrigerators, air conditioners, and televisions in rooms.
This is a sweet room.
